Having made the decision to re-upholster, are you wondering what happens next? From first contact to the end of the job, SCR Upholstery undertakes the following steps

Steve will ask you a series of questions about the nature of the job and he is able, in most instances, to give an idea of price over the phone. In some cases, he may need to view and measure the furniture in order to accurately quote.

The next step is to chose a cover. Steve has an extensive range of fabrics available to view and purchase, including leathers and vinyls. Or you may decide to source your own. In either case, Steve is able to offer advice on quality and style. Fabrics purchased through SCR Upholstery must be paid for up-front.

Steve will organise a time to pick up your furniture, assess the job (if the furniture has not been previously viewed) and he will at this point confirm the quoted price.

Upon acceptance of the quote, your furniture is then taken back to Steve’s Workshop for re-upholstery. The average time to re-upholster a three piece suite is five days.

Storage is available should you need to leave your furniture with SCR Upholstery prior to it’s refurbishment.

Steve will deliver your new look furniture home.

Invoices are payable via EFT, cheque or cash. Eftpos/credit card facilities are not available.
